As part of our commission for this project, we were also engaged to deliver project management services. This role required formulating the delivery of the project working closely with the schools Board of Proprietors.

With a capped budget and clearly defined user requirements, the project proceeded through an intensive scoping phase. Numerous options were developed and costed until a preferred solution was agreed. Value management and risk management strategies were adopted during these early project phases.

The delivery strategy afforded opportunity for early contractor appointment, which achieved significant cost savings. This in turn created opportunity to expand the project scope without exceeding the project budget. Completion of this iconic building now provides HIBS with a multi-functional auditorium, considered to be one of the best of its type
